About Special Projects Committee
About the Chair
Special Projects Committee for the 2022-2023 academic school term is being chaired by the elected Executive Director Daniel Barkin. This is Daniel's fourth year on the student society. Daniel is going into his fourth year of the Urban and Regional Planning Program.
About the Committee
The FCSS Special Projects Committee works on unique initiatives such as researching wellness infrastructure, planning the student-led cafe, operating the Unity Card Pilot, Hive Packs Commuter Mentorship Program, and more. The SPC is the ED's immideate committee.
Expectations
As a member of the Special Projects Committee you are responsible in showing up to all meetings, working on initiatiatives outside of the meetings, facilitating implementation of the special projects, and showing up to Faculty of Community Services Society events as volunteeers. As a member you are requried to read the FCSS Wellness Infrastructure, Sustainabilty, Event Management, and Mental Health Policy for your undergraduate student society.

About the Chair
Academics & Advocacy Committee for the 2021-2022 academic school term is being chaired by the ED Academic AJ Reman. AJ is going into her fourth year of the Occupational Health and Safety Program
About the Committee
The FCSS Academic & Advocacy works on hosting academic related faculty-wide events, advocacy, workshops, and seminars for Community Services students to engage, learn, plus grow.
Expectations
As a member of the academics department you are responsible in showing up to all academic & adcocacy meetings, planning events outside of the meetings, facilitating events, and showing up to Faculty of Community Services Society events. As a member you are requried to read the Academic Advocacy, Sustainabilty, and Mental Health Policy for your undergraduate student society.

About Marketing Communications Committee
About the Chair
Marketing Committee for the 2021-2022 academic school term is being chaired by Ryan who is a 4th year Nutrition student.
About the Committee
The FCSS Communications Comminttee works on content creation for all faculty-wide events, advocacy, initatives, and any board od directors approved campaign for Community Services students. Other day-to-day tasks include managing the social media accounts, and improving the Hive Collective apparel line.
Expectations
As a member of the Marketing department you are responsible in showing up to all departmment meetings, doing your work outside of the meetings assigned on time, showing up to seminars on UI + UX design, and showing up to Faculty of Community Services Society events.

About the Chairs
DCC Live! Committee for the 2022-2023 academic school term is being chaired by your elected Executive Director Daniel Barkin and the Chairperson for the student society Jacob Circo (Alumnus). Jacob has ran the student society before it was a Board of Govenors recognized student society.
About the Committee
The FCSS DCC Live! Committee works on spearheading the creation of this years DCC Live! This committee is brand new this year.
Expectations
As a member of this you are responsible in showing up to all departmment meetings, getting proposals, plus soing tasks outside of the meetings on schedule. All members must read the FCSS Event Management, Mental Health, and Sustainability Policies.
About Culture & Wellness Committee
About the Chair
Ruth is the elected ED Culture & Wellness on your student society. Ruth has experience from working on the DCC Urban Farm and getting involved and frequently attending FCSS events/initiatives. Ruth is a 3rd year Nutrition and Food student.
About the Committee
The FCSS Culture & Wellness Committee puts on both culure and wellness related events.
Expectations
As a member of the Culture & Wellness Committee you are responsible in showing up to all committee meetings, doing your work outside of the meetings assigned on time, and volunteering at events/initiatives. Committee members must read the Mental Health Policy, Sustainability, and Event Management Policy.

The FCSS Events Committee works on creating fun social events for all Community Services undergraduate members.

As a member of the Events department you are responsible in showing up to all departmment meetings, planning chunks of events outside of meetings, and colunteering/facilitating the events. All members on this committee must read the FCSS Event Management, Sustainability, and Mental Health Policy.

About EDCI Committee
About the Chair
EDCI Committee for the 2022-2023 academic school term is being chaired by the FCSS EDCI Commissioner Ann-Marie Moulton who has years of experience as a Social Work student sitting on the City of Toronto's TacklePovertyTO Committee.
About the Department
The FCSS EDCI Committee works on creating an Annual report for the AGM meeting to see where progress is being made to ensure the EDCI targets are being beyond reached.
Expectations
As a member of the EDCI you are responsible in showing up to all Committee meetings, working on chunks of the report outside of meetings.
